Gentari is an independent clean energy solutions entity, established by PETRONAS, to focus fully on delivering clean energy solutions and to seize opportunities in the energy transition.

The name combines the English word ‘GENERATION’ with the Malay word ‘LESTARI’ meaning ‘sustainable’, reflecting our mission to offer responsibly sourced energy that supports society’s progress toward a more sustainable future.

Gentari provides clean energy solutions across three core areas – Renewable Energy, Hydrogen and Green Mobility – offering a range of solutions across the energy value chain to support customers in their net zero goals.

• Installing 30 - 40 GW of renewable energy
• Supplying up to 1.2 MPTA of clean hydrogen
• Capturing over 10% market share of public charge points and Vehicle-as-a-Service in key markets in Asia Pacific

Gentari accelerates energy adoption by developing Commercial and Industrial (C&I) and utility-scale renewable projects, focusing on solar, wind and energy storage solutions to support decarbonisation efforts globally.
Hydrogen
We are on a journey to become the leading large-scale producer and industry ally for clean hydrogen solutions, supplying low emission energy for industrial, power and transportation sectors to support net zero goals.
Green Mobility
Gentari aims to be Asia Pacific's preferred partner in green mobility, supporting the transition to sustainable transportation through EV charging infrastructure and Vehicle as a Service (VaaS) fleets, to help with the goal of reducing emissions in the mobility sector.
Decarbonisation-as-a-Solution (DaaS)
Partnering with Gentari provides customers access to integrated cleaner energy solutions. With DaaS, we offer tailored, scalable pathways that help to accelerate decarbonisation through diagnostics, strategy mapping and asset management, supporting businesses across Asia Pacific in their transition to a lower carbon future.
